    Begin your tour with us as your safari dreams start to become a reality. You'll join us for a briefing on the fantastic journey we have planned together as we introduce you to your friendly and knowledgeable guide. With these enjoyable formalities over, it's time to get going!

    Victoria Falls will leave you spellbound with its scale and majesty: it really is one of the most remarkable natural scenes in Africa. It's not hard to see why locals call it Mosi-oa-Tunya, or the ‘smoke that thunders’

    Day 3: Chobe national park

    Accommodation : Travelodge Kasane

    Chobe National Park sits right alongside the Okavango Delta and is one of Africa's elite wildlife-viewing destinations. Within its boundaries, you'll find Savuti (which is famous for its lions and leopards) and Chobe Riverfront (which has big herds of some of southern Africa's biggest elephants). There's a great mix of landscapes as well.

    Day 4: Nata

    Accommodation: Elephant Sands

    Spend a little time in Nata, a busy little crossroads town where roads to and from Maun, Kasane and Francistown connect. It's close to the salt pans, the Zimbabwean border, and the parks and wildlife areas of Botswana's north.

    Early Morning Game Drive, Chobe National Park

    Put on some warm clothes and enjoy an early morning game drive. This is the perfect time to experience the wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. The light is soft and warm – perfect for photography – and most animals are out and about, and active. If you’re not an early riser, you’ll definitely want to make an exception here.

    If you've always dreamed of being close to elephants, you'll love Elephant Sands. Accommodation includes large safari tents and a campground, and the public areas have a bar-restaurant and swimming pool. But the main highlight here is that the whole place surrounds a waterhole where large numbers of elephants come down to drink throughout the day

    Day 5: Gweta

    Accommodation :Planet Baobab

    One of few towns in Botswana's thinly populated north, Gweta is a relaxed gateway to the parks of Makgadikgadi Pans and Nxai Pan, along the Maun–Nata road.

    At friendly Planet Baobab, you're close to the quiet town of Gweta and to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. There's a range of accommodation here, and it's all decorated with warmth and charm. The same goes for the public areas, such as the gardens, the bar and restaurant, and the swimming pool. You'll meet lots of other travelers here.

    Day 6 & 7 : Maun

    Accommodation: Sedia Riverside Hote

    So many extraordinary safari experiences start and finish in Maun, Botswana's major gateway for visiting the Okavango Delta. It's an interesting town, with decent restaurants and accommodation, as well as shops selling everything from souvenirs to supplies for heading out on safari. The town is strung out along the pretty Thamalakane River

    Transfer time; 2 to 3 hours

    Mukoro dug out canoeing, Okavango Delta

    Sedia Riverside Hotel is your base while you're in Maun, and it's a good one. Most of the appealing rooms have their own private terrace or balcony that looks out over the hotel's gardens, and the riverside location is a real plus. Maun can get very warm, and the swimming pool is perfect on a hot afternoon. There's also a bar and restaurant at the hotel

    Day 8: Okavango Delta

    When you visit the Okavango Delta, you can look forward to a wonderful wildlife experience against a watery backdrop of islands and river channels. Expect elephants, giraffes, zebras, crocs, hippos and buffaloes, and possibly big cats too.

    No one wants a safari to end, but we know that you will have had a wonderful time with us in Botswana. Travel home safely, and we can't wait to see you again.

    Morning

    Enjoy a drone's-eye view of the Delta on a scenic flight this morning. Look down on the animals where they take refuge on islands you couldn't otherwise reach, and trace the waters that flood all the way to the horizon.

    We will transfer you to the airport.
