DAY BY DAY

Itinerary in detail

  • 1

    Day 1: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

    08h30 - 17h30 pick up from the guest house and start off to Central Kalahari Game Reserve with their guide. There will be packed lunch on the way and some refreshments. On arrival in CKGR game drive will continue and arrive at camp site at 17h30. By this time the back up team would have long set the camp site and ready to receive the guests on arrival. 19h30- dinner will be served followed by camp fire. Camping staff will only go to their tents after all guests have gone to their tents.

    Day 2: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

    05h30 – 06h00 guests are waken with a native language “ kokoo” meaning knock knock and a morning greeting “dumelang” meaning good morning. On waking up guests will find warm water in the face wash basin to wash faces and go for breakfast. After breakfast guest with their guide will leave for morning game drive at 06h00- 11h30. 12h30 lunch will be served and after lunch guests can request for shower or just before afternoon game-drive they can request for shower. The policy of the park is no one is allowed to bath at night in the campsite.15h00-18h00 this will be afternoon game drive. For every afternoon game-drive guest have cold drinks and water with them in the fridge. 18h00 end of afternoon game drive. 19h30 time for dinner and camp fire.

    Day 3: Maun

    07h00- 08h30 guests are are waken with a native language “ kokoo “ meaning knock knock and greeted “Dumelang “ Meaning “goodmorning”. They prepare their luggage and exit the tents with their luggage. They will find warm water in the face wash basin to wash their faces. They will then get to breakfast. After breakfast they embark on their game drive vehicle and take a short drive in ckgr and exit the park proceeding to Maun. On the way there will be packed lunch and some refreshments. Arrival in maun will be 16h00 and proceed to the camping site outside maun where the back up crew would have prepared the camp. After settling guests can request for bathing with camp handman. Chef will call for dinner at 19h30 and as well announce the nature of his delicacies. After dinner guests and camping stall can congregate by the fire place and share their folk tales.

    Day 4: Okavango delta

    07h00-08h30. Guests are waken with a native language “kokoo” meaning Knock knock and a morning greeting “ dumelang” meaning good morning. On waking up guests would come out of the tents with luggage fully packed and ready. They will find warm water in face wash basin.after this clients would take breakfast. After breakfast guests with their guide will start the journey to Okavango delta (moremi). There will be packed lunch and refreshments served on the way. The journey to moremi will normally take approximately 4hours but will take long because of game drives on the way. Arrival to the camp site will be only at 17h30. On arrival guests will be welcomed by camp staff who will then brief them about their new home in the bush. At 19h30 dinner starts with the chef elaborating his menu. Then after dinner campfire with the whole camping clan sharing experiences of life spiced with folklore tales.

    Day 5: Okavango delta

    06h00-07h00 guests are woken with a native language “kokoo” meaning knock knock and greeted. On waking up guests will find warm water ready in face wash basin just to wash their faces. They will then take breakfast and go for morning game drive. Moremi khwai is known for its wild dogs, lions and leopard and it will be duty of the guide to take guest to places he knows best. Morning game drive will continue to the mokoro or canoe station where the guests will take a two hour mokoro in the delta. There will be packed lunch. Guests will return to the camp around 16h00 to have enough time to shower and rest. Dinner will be served at 19h30 and camp fire after dinner.

    Day 6:Savuti Game Reserve

    06h00- 07h00 guests are are woken with a native language “ kokoo “ meaning knock knock and greeted “Dumelang “ Meaning “goodmorning”. They prepare their luggage and exit the tents with their luggage. They will find warm water in the face wash basin to wash their faces. They will then get to breakfast. After breakfast they embark on their game drive vehicle and take a short drive in moremi khwai and exit the park proceeding to Savuti. Guests will be having packed lunch and prepared tea and drinks in refrigerator on their way to Savuti. This will be a journey with stop overs on the way and would take around 3 – 4hours to arrive in savuti. On arrival in Savuti game drive continues until 17h30 just before sun goes down. This is to make sure guests can be able to explore their new home in Savuti( the camp). Dinner will be called on at 19h30 of which the chef as normal would give a briefing about his cuisine. After dinner guests can then congregate around the camp fire and share folk tales with full company of the camp. The guide will give an account of the following day movement in Savuti. Savuti is a place of cheetah, wild dogs, lions and leopards and commonly known for leopards in hills and because of that a hill named leopard hill derives its name.

    Day 7: Savuti Game Reserve

    05h30 – 06h00 guests are waken with a native language “ kokoo” meaning knock knock and a morning greeting “dumelang” meaning good morning. On waking up guests will find warm water in the face wash basin to wash faces and go for breakfast. After breakfast guest with their guide will leave for morning game drive from 06h00- 11h30 around savuti not forgetting the leopard hill. 12h30 lunch will be served and after lunch guests can request for shower or just before afternoon game-drive they can request for shower. The policy of the park is no one is allowed to bath at night in the campsite. 15h00-18h00 this will be afternoon game drive. For every afternoon game-drive guest have cold drinks and water with them in the fridge. 18h00 end of afternoon game drive. 19h30 time for dinner and camp fire.

    Day 8: Chobe National Park

    06h00- 07h30 guests are waken with a native language “kokoo” meaning Knock knock and a morning greeting “ dumelang” meaning good morning. On waking up guests would come out of the tents with luggage fully packed and ready. They will find warm water in face wash basin.after this clients would take breakfast and take on a short game drive. With packed lunch guests will do short game drive and exit Savuti hearding to chobe national. On arrival in chobe national park guests with their guide will continue with game and only arrive at the camping site at 17h30. This is to make sure guests can be able to explore their new home in chobe national park( the camp). Dinner will be called on at 19h30 of which the chef as normal would give a briefing about his cuisine. After dinner guests can then congregate around the camp fire and share folk tales with full company of the camp. The guide will give an account of the following day movement in chobe national park. Chobe national park hosts a largest elephant population in the whole world.

    Day 9: Chobe National Park

    05h30 – 06h00 guests are waken with a native language “ kokoo” meaning knock knock and a morning greeting “dumelang” meaning good morning. On waking up guests will find warm water in the face wash basin to wash faces and go for breakfast. After breakfast guest with their guide will leave for morning game drive at 06h00- 11h30 with packed lunch. 13h30 guide will proceed to jetty for boat cruise in chobe and return to camp at 18h00. 19h30 time for dinner and camp fire.

    Day 10: Chobe National Park

    07h00- 08h30 guests are are waken with a native language “ kokoo “ meaning knock knock and greeted “Dumelang “ Meaning “goodmorning”. They prepare their luggage and exit the tents with their luggage. They will find warm water in the face wash basin to wash their faces. They will then get to breakfast. After breakfast they embark on their game drive vehicle and take a short game drive in chobe national park and exit the park proceeding to their final destination in kasane or airport. End of trip
